Pistoulet Tableware
Like everything having to do with Pistoulet the tableware came about in a most unusual way.
A number of years after The Secrets of Pistoulet was published, a close friend brought the book to a party as a hostess gift in York, Pa the home of Pfaltzgraff. The Chief designer happened to be there and said he had been looking for the author of the book for quite some time. This was way before google where you can find everything about a person in a nano second.
He contacted me the following day and the connection was made.
After a year of silence I got a call one day to meet in New York at the Pfaltzgraff showroom and the fun began. The entire design and marketing team flew to France and stayed at the magical farmhouse and together we created tableware that reflected not only the spirit of the book but the colors and flavors of the French countryside. Pistoulet remains one of the top selling Pfaltgraff patterns with its lively colors and whimisical style.

Villa della Luna Tableware
Following the magic of Pistoulet, Pfaltzgraff produced a line of dinnerware based on a book I co-created with Mary Tiegreen. Together we went to Italy with the Chief designer of Pfaltzgraff and lived the Italian dream. We produced The Villa della Luna tableware in the lush, vibrant colors of Italy. Not surprisingly, Villa della Luna Tableware is also one of the best selling Pfaltzgrafff patterns today.
